IDR, IDR-picture, Instantaneous Decoding Refresh Picture

This is a special type of picture defined by the H.264 standard.

After IDR-picture is decoded, all following pictures can be decoded without using prediction from pictures before the IDR-picture.

The first frame in the decoded video stream is decoded from the IDR-picture.
